Dodgertown Back to School Bash

Supporting Our Community: Dodgertown Elementary

The Indian River Mosquito Control District and Staff supported the "Dodgertown Back to School Bash" this July.  Staff donated school supplies for the event and spent the day making art and educating the kids on mosquito control.

A group of people in a room posing for a photo, some holding certificates or items, with flags and a sign in the background.

Staff had an arts and crafts table where the students made mosquitoes.

Our Inland Inspector brought a kiddie pool with mosquito larvae to show the students how to dip and look for mosquitoes.

A kiddie pool with water, illustrated sea creatures, and floating objects being scooped with plastic ladles.

Staff also brought a model house to show locations where mosquitoes can breed around a home.
